Wednesday stats

Not too bad today! I'm going to be really sad next week when I have to leave town and start eating at restaurants 3 times a day. Because then the weight loss will stop. Boo.

Exercise:
35 minutes Wii Your Shape
10 minutes Wii Fit balance games

Food:
Egg and cheese on a hamburger bun and some OJ
turkey and cucumber on a sandwich thin, baby carrots
low fat string cheese
instant hot chocolate

half of a brownie (I took the smallest half I could locate on the platter)

I'll try to do better today. We'll see how it goes.

Monday stats and weigh in

Not too bad today. Also, I forgot to do a separate weigh-in post, but I am down to 137. And counting! I would love to get down to 135 before having to start up traveling again...then I can just set my goal to maintenance until I'm back in town for more than two days at a time. Yay!

Exercise:
30 minutes Wii Your Shape
15 minutes Wii Fit yoga
50 minutes pilates mat class

Food:
veggie omelet (forgot the cheese again!) with a handful of bagel chips and some OJ
turkey and cucumber on a sandwich thin, baby carrots, bite size baby ruth bar
low fat string cheese
instant hot chocolate
granola bar
lean cuisine and a side salad, and an after dinner mint

Sunday Stats

about to go to bed so may as well do this.

Exercise:
30 minutes Wii Your Shape
15 minutes Wii Fit yoga/balance games

Food:
egg and cheese bagel
turkey and cheese bagel
about a half a bag of light microwave popcorn
spoonful of peanut butter (i know)
special K with skim milk
instant hot chocolate with mini marshmallows

not terrible...we'll see how i did at the weigh in tomorrow!

Saturday stats

Saturday was a bit carb-heavy, as weekends (especially prior to grocery shopping) tend to be, but it wasn't too bad overall.

Exercise:
30 minutes Wii EA Active
15 minutes Wii Fit aerobics and balance games

Food:
bacon egg and cheese bagel
french toast bagel with smart balance light and some baby carrots
mushroom gnocchi pasta side (which i only intended to eat half of...nice try)
chocolate square

I'm going to try to not have such a heavy dinner tonight in preparation for my weigh in tomorrow morning. We'll see how that goes. :)

Friday stats

Not the best day ever, but considering how good I'd been for the rest of the week, it's not the end of the world.

Exercise:
30 minutes Wii Your Shape
15 minutes Wii Fit yoga

Food:
veggie and cheese omelet, handful of bagel chips, OJ
Thai taste: chicken and veggies in a light sauce over rice, spring roll
a krispy kreme donut (the work treats finally got to me) and instant hot chocolate
Brixx: tomato and fresh mozzarella sandwich, handful of terra chips

I'm going to try to be really good this weekend because I've been weighing myself all week and if what I weigh now holds for Monday's weigh in, it's going to be awesome. I only have one more week in Charlotte before I have to start traveling (and likely eating like an idiot) again, so I need to make it count!

Thursday stats

So Thursday, the HR manager and her assistant were wheeling a CATERING CART of delicious looking cupcakes around the office. I'm not lying. And this morning there were donuts, but that's a whole other story. It's like my office is trying to fatten us up for the winter. WTF. Anyway, some of these cupcakes looked SO GOOD but I figured that if I'm strong enough to avoid Moe's queso, I'm not going to ruin my diet with a cupcake. I once again told them to get the hell out of my cube. Victory.

Exercise:
30 minutes Wii Your Shape
15 minutes Wii Fit balance games
50 minutes pilates lesson

Food:
veggie and cheese omelet, a handful of bagel chips, OJ
turkey and cucumber on a sandwich thin, baby carrots, chocolate square
low fat string cheese
granola bar
lean cuisine, salad, and a few chunks of left over focaccia bread from the catered dinner
instant hot chocolate

I find that the hot chocolate actually really takes care of my chocolate cravings...for only 65 calories and while also hydrating me. Can't complain about that.

Wednesday stats

After avoiding the aforementioned croissants in the prior post, today wound up being pretty decent.

Exercise:
30 minutes Wii Your Shape
15 minutes Wii Fit yoga

Food:
veggie omelet (I forgot to add the cheese!), piece of toast, and OJ
turkey and cucumber sandwich, baby carrots, chocolate square
low fat string cheese
100-cal bag of nuts
lean cuisine, salad, and a dinner roll w/a little butter
handful of tortilla chips *
instant hot chocolate

* ok so, I love Moe's. LOVE IT. And it was the catered dinner tonight. So I forbade myself from entering the kitchen until it was cleaned up because I am incapable of having a normal amount of Moe's in a buffet situation where there is queso. So, in comparison to the three plates of nachos I would have had otherwise, I'm willing to write off the chips as reasonable.

Tuesday stats

Another good day, for the most part! No treats were brought into the office, so that's always a good start. They were bringing around my favorite chocolate croissants today though. And I sent them away. And there are no leftovers. Thank god.

Food:
veggie and cheese omelet, piece of rosemary bread toast w/smart balance light, glass of OJ

cup of instant hot chocolate

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Monday stats

Monday was a good day because no one brought sweets to the office. It was, however, a bad day because Jenny made me do abs in the morning...on a day that I also go to pilates. I can barely move today.

15 minutes Wii Fit - balance games and Yoga
50 minutes pilates mat class

Food:

low fat string cheese
100-cal bag of nuts
lean cuisine and a side salad
cup of hot chocolate (instant - made with water)

Sunday stats/monday weigh in

I may have tainted my weigh in a bit with a heavy dinner last night...but it was Valentines Day, so that'll happen I guess. The rest of the day wasn't bad at all.

Exercise:
30 minutes Wii Your Shape
20 minutes Wii Fit aerobics/balance games

Food:
one egg with mushroom and cheese on a sandwich thin, OJ
low fat string cheese
turkey and cucumber on a sandwich thin, baby carrots, and a chocolate square
about a dozen reduced fat ravioli with vodka sauce, and some rosemary olive oil bread dipped in EVOO and spices
about half a bag of popcorn and hot chocolate with marshmallows (Blake made dessert...haha).

I have to watch it on the big dinners I guess. At any rate, my weigh in was 139, so it still showed me as losing a pound last week. So that's good. On Saturday morning, I weighed 138 and I was pumped, but I guess I blew that at dinner last night. Haha. Maybe next week. :)

Sunday, February 14, 2010

low fat string cheese
bowl of special k with skim milk
peanut butter on a sandwich thin

Exercise:
30 minutes wii your shape

Food:
veggie omelet and OJ
grilled chicken over pasta primavera (reasonable serving size)
bowl of special K with skim milk
small bowl of popcorn

lean cuisine and a side salad

it's snowing now!

Thursday, February 11, 2010

Wednesday stats

I successfully told my HR manager to get the hell out of my cube Wednesday because she was distributing Coldstone Cupcakes. So I guess that's a plus.

Exercise:
30 minutes Wii Your Shape
15 minutes Wii Fit yoga & balance games

Food:
two egg omelet with 1/2 cup chopped veggies and a sprinkle of low fat cheese, glass of OJ
low fat string cheese
turkey and cucumber sandwich, baby carrots, and a chocolate square
granola bar
lean cuisine, side salad, and a dinner roll left over from the office's catered dinner
the last two chocolate chip cookies in the house (thank god).

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Tuesday Stats

Tuesday was bad. And as a result, I had a bellyache lasting until this morning. This will not be repeated (I hope).

Exercise:
35 minutes Wii EA Active workout #6 (hard)
10 minutes Wii Fit aerobics

Food:
egg and cheese bagel and OJ
turkey and cucumber sandwich, baby carrots, and a chocolate square
about 1/2 cup of mocha almond fudge ice cream (people seriously need to stop bringing treats to the office. And they definitely need to stop emailing the whole office to tell them that said treats exist).
low fat string cheese
lean cuisine* and a side salad, a small breadstick left over from the catered dinner that the office provided
two cookies (they should be gone by tonight, thank god).

* - when i say "lean cuisine" I basically mean any small, healthy, microwavable meal that has under 350 calories. Sometimes it is lean cuisine, but lately I've been doing more Healthy Choice and Smart Ones. I refuse to eat meals with meat in them, because the meat tastes gross, so I don't have many vegetarian options if I only stick to one brand. I will say that for the most part, Healthy Choice tastes the best (and has the most veggies), followed by Smart Ones and then Lean Cuisine. Though I do love some Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli something fierce.

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

Monday Stats

Getting back on track! Though I really wish I didn't make those cookies this weekend.

Exercise:

50 minutes pilates mat class

Food:
egg and cheese bagel
turkey and cucumber sandwich, baggie of baby carrots, and a chocolate square

two chocolate chip cookies

I hope Blake finishes the cookies before I get home tonight.

Sunday stats/weigh in/goals

Ok Super Bowl parties are bad for diets. I think we can all agree with that.

Sunday Stats

Exercise:
35 minutes Wii Your Shape
10 minutes Wii Fit Yoga

Food:
egg and cheese bagel
turkey and cheese bagel
about a dozen chocolate chip cookies, a small serving of baked ziti, one pig in a blanket, spinach and artichoke dip with baby carrots and bagel chips for dipping, and about a dozen Valentines Day SweetTarts. I KNOW. Not impressive.

Weigh In
140. Not bad considering my fast food only diet of the past two weeks.

Goals
I'm in Charlotte for 4 weeks now (well, as of right now...that may be amended to 3 weeks later). I would like to be really really good and try to lose 5 pounds in those 4 weeks. I think it can be done. There's very little to tempt me when I'm working 65 hour weeks. We'll see how it goes.

Sunday, February 7, 2010

Saturday stats

Exercise:
None. I know.

I'll try to be good at the Super Bowl Party today...

Saturday, February 6, 2010

Friday stats

My exhaustion caught up with me today. Also, there was still no food in the house. I'm going to the grocery store shortly.

Exercise:
None.

Food:
two scrambled eggs and a small glass of OJ
Big Daddy's: small salad with mixed greens, grilled chicken, walnuts, apples, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, mozzarella, and balsamic vinaigrette and a side of sweet potato fries
half of a chocolate pastry (stupid office bringing in delicious pastries on friday)
bowl of Special K with skim milk

Time to get back on track.

Friday, February 5, 2010

Thursday stats

Sorry I'm a bit late with this today...but I'm back home now! Yay! Also, my diet is suffering a bit based on the fact that there was pretty much zero food in the house when i got in last night. Ugh.

Exercise:
35 minutes elliptical
10 minutes strength training, lower body

Food:
waffle, syrup, OJ
banana
bowl of Special K with skim milk
handful of M&Ms
lean cuisine

I was way too tired to work out this morning...i may do it tonight when I get home. We'll see how lazy I'm feeling. Otherwise, I guess I'll take an off day. :)

Thursday, February 4, 2010

Wednesday stats

Well, we're leaving TN early for fear of another storm, so I'm at the airport right now. So my diet can co back to normal tomorrow! Yay.

Exercise:
35 minutes elliptical
10 minutes pilates

Food:
Waffle, syrup, OJ
Banana
Moe's - Junior burrito w/ chicken, grilled peppers, onions, and mushrooms, lettuce, and black olives; chips and queso

SO excited to get back to Charlotte...

Wednesday, February 3, 2010

Tuesday stats

Not horrible today...but I did not do the extra exercise I claimed I was going to do to make up for Monday. Oops.

Exercise:
35 minute treadmill uphill walk
10 minutes strength training - upper body

Food:
Waffle, syrup, OJ
Banana
Five Guys (mmmm grease) - grilled cheese with grilled onions, green peppers, and mushrooms, a handful of peanuts, and we split a large fry among 4 people
Granola bar
KFC* - grilled chicken breast with sides of green beans and mac 'n cheese and a biscuit

* - So on Monday we decided to get takeout from KFC last night for dinner. And then yesterday morning on the Today Show, they were doing this fast food health thing and they told me how many calories are in the extra crispy. OMG. So I was guilted into getting the grilled. And it was pretty good. Not as good as fried, but still good. And, according to the website, my entire meal was under 600 calories. So I like that.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010

Monday stats

Another quick one:

Exercise:
35 minutes elliptical
that's it. i'm going to try to do a little extra today to make up for it.

Food:
waffle, syrup, OJ
banana
Quiznos - small flatbread salad and a sammie (2 for $5 baby)
granola bar (a real one, not one that is actually candy)
Cracker Barrel (that's right) - two scrambled eggs, three pieces of delicious crispy bacon, and two biscuits with a little bit of apple butter.

And that's a wrap.

Monday, February 1, 2010

Sunday stats

Super fast because I'm super busy...

Exercise:
65 minutes treadmill uphill walk
10 minutes strength training - lower body

Food:
Waffle, syrup, OJ
Banana
Chicken wrap w/bacon, lettuce, tomato, and feta dressing, small amount of fries
granola bar (but it was Hershey's, so it was not necessarily healthy)
O'Charly's - one roll and about half of a chicken pasta entree
Chocolate fro-yo
